Whenever Bob would come down to New York, we would go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art where he would study pieces of early American furniture. Here he is using a notebook to measure a chair. When I visited his place, I would find exact replicas of the furniture at the Metropolitan. This was about the last photo I took of Bob. It was January 2010.
